According to the World Health Organization(WHO), India is one of the most depressed countries in the world with a 36%(highest for a country) of Indians likely to suffer from major depression at some point in their lives. Today people talk about taking anxiety medication with the same ease as one would talk about taking blood pressure medication.In January, actoress Anushka Sharma said that she had sought treatment for anxiety and depression. Around the same time, her colleague Deepika Padukone too wrote about battling anxiety and depression. A lack of awareness about the illness is the reason why depression is one of the biggest silent killers today.

Depression is not just about personal suffering; it costs the nation in terms of productivity.

1.Steam your face for one to two minutes and then use a natural exfoliator to scrub off the blackheads and whiteheads gently.

2.Apply a mixture of honey and lemon juice over the blackheads.

3.Apply a mixture of one egg white and a tea spoon of honey over your face to prevent blackheads.

4.Mix lemon juice and cinnamon powder and apply for 20 minutes to your blackheads. Test on your hand prior using it on your face .

5.Take a small tomato, grate it and apply it over the blackheads before going to bed. Leave it overnight and then wash it with clean water in the morning.

Take steam – apply scrub – follow home remedy – apply cream .

Ayurvedic remedies for mouth ulcers

Ayurvedic remedies for mouth ulcers:

-Irimedadi taila can be locally applied on mouth ulcers.It gives early relief from pain and helps heal ulcers.

-Keep Khadiraadi vati in mouth and slowly suck it as it dissolves in saliva.

-Licorice (mulethi) – Chew on a piece of it.

-Gargle with a decoction(kaadha) of leaves of guava tree, either singly or mixed with alum.

-Apply a mixture of home made turmeric powder and glycerin.

-Gargle with the juice of tomatoes for at least three to four times a day

-Make a paste of Indian gooseberry and apply it on the ulcer. Do this for at least twice a day.
